An oyster luge has a raceways carved into a 200 pound block of ice. It's a team event requiring a "dropper" and a "catcher". The dropper drops the shucked oyster into the top of the racetrack while the catcher waits at the bottom to catch the sliding oyster. It's a lot of fun not only for the participants , but for the spectators as well.
